Springfield Squash Open 2021

Scottish Squash approached Brand Oath to create the identity and visual framework for the inaugural Springfield Scottish Squash Open in 2019 which took place at Oriam, Scotland’s National Performance Centre. We were delighted to get the opportunity to update the assets for the next tournament which is heading to the Highlands next year.

The 2021 Springfield Scottish Squash Open will take place at Inverness Tennis and Squash Club in September 2021.

Springfield Properties partnered with Scottish Squash, the national governing body of squash, in 2019 as the Open returned following an 18-year absence.

Next year’s prize fund of $20,000 will again be equally split between male and female players.

The PSA (Professional Squash Association) sanctioned event will be held in Inverness across five days, from 25 to 29 August 2021, with the tournament once more set to attract some of the world’s best players.

“Brand Oath were a fantastic company to partner with to support us in leading the design and development of a new brand and visual framework for the event. The event returned in April 2019 for the first time in 18 years and Scottish Squash were looking for an event identity that was exciting and eye catching. Brand Oath produced this and with their professional knowledge and experiences were able to advise and support Scottish Squash further to help create an even stronger identity. Their friendly and flexible approach really added to the partnership and they always ensured strong communication throughout all their work that was carried out. We’re delighted with the brand that has been created for us and is something that will allow us to continue to grow the event into a leading professional squash event in future years. Following the successful partnership around the event, further work has now continued into a wider brand for squash in Scotland and we’re excited to continue the partnership in this area.”
